Make memories through one-time opportunities

If you’re looking for a fun, low-commitment way to give back, consider volunteering at ��ý�Ļ��Ʒ events like Homecoming, Alumni Weekend or Grad Bash. These one-time opportunities are a great way to reconnect with campus, cheer on the Buffs and meet other alumni while making the event experience even more special.

Bring Buffs together where you live

Volunteering also means creating community for other alumni. Whether hosting a Game Watch, planning a networking mixer or organizing a fun local event, volunteers play a key role in helping Buffs connect across the country. One of the most meaningful ways to give back is mentoring through the Forever Buffs Network Mentorship Program. Alumni, faculty, staff and friends are welcome to participate — anyone who joins the Forever Buffs Network can apply. It’s an easy way to make a difference in someone’s journey while gaining fresh connections.

Each April, alumni around the country come together for Buffs Give Back — a day of service dedicated to making a difference in your local communities. By hosting or joining a project in your area, you can help showcase Forever Buffs’ positive impact. From park cleanups to food bank drives, it’s a powerful way to carry CU’s spirit of service far beyond campus.

Are you a Forever Buff? All ��ý�Ļ��Ʒ alumni are members of the dues-free ��ý�Ļ��Ʒ Alumni Association, which offers many free resources for alumni like you. From events around the country and career resources to the Coloradan alumni magazine, discover the many ways ��ý�Ļ��Ʒ supports you through every phase and stage of life.

Career Services

Graduating from ��ý�Ļ��Ʒ means you have access to Career Services. Each alum receives two free career advising appointments per calendar year, with additional appointments available at $30 per session. New graduates in their first year as alumni are eligible for free, unlimited career advising. Alumni can also participate in events and networking opportunities, including free virtual tools like Handshake.

Forever Buffs Network

The Forever Buffs Network is ��ý�Ļ��Ʒ’s online alumni community where you can get insider access, grow your professional network and connect with fellow Buffs. Members can participate in a free nine-month mentorship program that launches each fall. The Forever Buffs Network is free and easy to join!

Chapters and Clubs

Alumni receive access to other campus resources at free or discounted rates. Colorado residents can apply for CU library privileges online or at the ��ý�Ļ��Ʒ Alumni Association. The CU Rec Center also offer discounted memberships for alumni.
