This course takes you on a cinematic journey through Italy’s most powerful stories— from the raw realism of De Sica and Fellini to the bold visions of today’s filmmakers like Cortellesi and Rohrwacher. Through film, we’ll unpack big themes like identity, social change, gender, the mafia, and multiculturalism, revealing the ever-evolving face of Italian society. No prior knowledge of Italian
