BVSD updates calendar to match ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ· spring break dates

to align the district’s spring break with ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Ʒ’s spring break dates.

For a number of years, ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Ʒ’s spring break dates have matched with the Boulder Valley School District’s spring break dates and often those ofÌýthe St. Vrain Valley School District (SVVSD). This is helpful to many ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ· employees and ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ· parents and families who have students enrolled in one of the two nearby K-12 school districts.Ìý

BVSD and ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ· identified a discrepancy for the 2022–23 academic year.Ìý

Following the BVSD Board of Education’s unanimous vote on June 7, BVSD moved spring break to March 27–31, 2023, which matches ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Ʒ’s break.

SVVSD has currently not made any changes to its planned March 20–24, 2023, spring break.Ìý

ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ· reached out to both school districts to set the stage for future cooperation on calendar setting that benefits all three institutions going forward.
