- Six ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ· students and alumni have been named Fulbright finalists for the 2023–24 academic year by the U.S. Department of State and the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board. Another two students were named alternates.
- Leaders from ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ· and the National Institute of Standards and Technology celebrated the launch of the Quantum Engineering Initiative Lab, a state-of-the-art laboratory and collaboration space.
- Karen Bailey will present her work on the fraught relationship between elephant and human communities in Thailand when she receives her award at the Ecological Society of America annual meeting.
- ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ· in partnership with the Southern Ute Department of Education announced that it will cover in-state tuition and mandatory student fees for four new students from the Southern Ute Indian Tribe annually beginning this fall.
- This year, the Office of Faculty Affairs awarded six faculty members the first-ever Outstanding Faculty Mentoring Award, which recognizes excellence in mentorship of faculty by faculty.
- ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ· is hosting its sixth annual Health and Wellness Summit Sept. 13–14. Staff, faculty and graduate students are invited to submit proposals to present at the summit, due June 30.
- Provost Russell Moore and Tiffany Beechy, the Boulder Faculty Assembly outgoing chair, have accepted the Faculty Salary Procedures Working Group final report submitted on May 4.
- A ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ· faculty member has been recognized with a national excellence in teaching award from a leading group for professional, continuing and online education.
- The City of Boulder Landmarks Board recognized ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Ʒ’s 1135 Broadway building, which now houses the Renée Crown Wellness Institute, with a project award.
- The Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program is inviting the campus and broader community to explore the diverse selections of art and scholarship showcased in its student-run publications. The program also encourages students to submit work for future issues.
